If Only I Didn’t Need to Sleep…
April 12, 2008Ugh. I’ve spent eight hours straight today working on school work. No exaggerations, either… no breaks, no time wasting… just homework. A request: if you hear me say “seventeen credits” and “fall semester” in the same sentence any time near the registration date, slap me. Hard.
I have a modern physics test on Monday, a take-home particle physics test that I’ll barely be able to get done by the due date, Tuesday, two analog assignments due Monday, microprocessors homework due Tuesday, EM homework due Monday, the analog final project that I need to keep working on, a lab we need to start working on for microprocessors… I haven’t made a dent yet.
The countdown has begun… only three weeks until it ends. I don’t know if that scares me or relieves me. A little bit of both, I suppose. I won’t be getting A’s, but I’ll do alright.
Well, I’ll carry on for a few more hours tonight, fueled by some music from Mr. Conor Oberst to keep me company. I bow to his lyrical abilities.
“So I circled the earth, blown away in the wind, but I always returned
With some new little song, some sad story to tell
Of a brief love affair with a girl I compared to you
And she failed“
Hey, I know it’s sappy, but at least it’s better written than pop and country music.
